Odyssey has recently made some changes that have impacted the use of their battery with our Battery Tray. The new version of the battery (#ODS-AGM42A) no longer comes stock with a metal protective jacket as it did previously. No worries it’ll still work without it, using the supplied foam strips. However, we do feel the metal jacket allows both protection and a better fit with our Battery Tray.
